You should know marijuana rules because Setting up a marijuana business is not easy.  Although marijuana is legal in the state, it is still illegal under the federal law and if you don’t understand or adhere to the rules completely, you risk getting your licenses cancelled and you may also be prosecuted for the offence.  The marijuana rules are stringent and there are hundreds of pages of these rules that you must understand if you want to run your own dispensary or delivery service.


Marijuana rules state that if you have a dispensary or a medical marijuana business, then you cannot buy marijuana from a caregiver or from someone in the street as this would be illegal.  Businesses must only deal with licensed cultivation centers.  In fact, they must keep an inventory of everything from seed to the point where they make a sale.  When businesses are in operations, then one thing that owners must keep in mind is that it is not legal to sell marijuana for anyone just for a profit.  Marijuana has been legalized so patients can use them for the treatment of certain diseases and conditions and these patients are required to have their id cards.  Whenever marijuana is sold, it must be only sold to patients will a valid patients id card.
